Default Clueless in La Paz

Will be headed to La Paz at the end of June. I plan on at least 1 day of fishing I have booked with Tailhunters International. Any info on the process of bringing fish back and things to do when down there would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Boring Bob

For things to do, how long will you be in LaPaz, where are you staying, and do you like stuff like kyaking, or what else?

CLownfish, I'll share an email I got this AM from a friend who's in LaPaz right now. He's answering my question about whether the town has changed much the last few years?:

************************************************** *
LAP has changed for better and worse (kind of like Bend in many respects)....they're constantly making improvements to waterfront Malecon (really nice bronze statutes), sprucing up some areas, getting a handle on trash (in some cases), and they just protected Balandra Beach by ordinance (a first).

There are now more people (pop 200k), but it is easy to get around, and we're noticing more North Americans (lots of Canadians), also Europeans I'm told (it's a top retirement destination and they're starting to build condos....generally starting at $200k....to accommodate the expected influx). The worst is this God-awful development out on El Megote (the sand spit) call Pariso del Mar.....it is so ugly from town with all its lights...how they got it approved is a mystery, but word has it it was sold to some of Dick Chaney's friends to avoid any Mexican legal battles bc people were trying to fight it.

Still seems a Mexican town in spite of the Applebees and Burger King on the Malecon! (and they are busy, too!!). There are some nice people here, it's close to some amazing landscapes and has great sunsets (80 degrees and sunny doesn't hurt, either). : )

Bob, no worries. You're fishing with Jon Roldan. He's an outdoor writer who still writes but also runs charters out of La Paz. He knows how to help guys pack fish for the trip North. No worries and enjoy your trip!

Sorry about the lack of response, I have been dealing with sick dog and have not been online for awhile.
We will be there for a week, Friday to Friday.
Thanks for your input.

If anyone has a source for dry ice in La Paz, please let me know. We will be there the first week of July. No luck that I've heard of for dry ice...
