Re: What's your favorite beer?
I don't have a favorite beer. I have a regular beer that I drink and I drink others depending on mood and other factors. My regular beer is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I have found this ale to be very reliable with regards to consistency.
I also may drink an ESB, IPA, Stout, Porter, Lager, or Pilsner.
Mainstay brew = Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
ESB = Deschutes Extra Special Bitter
IPA = Pike IPA
Stout = Guiness
Porter = Sierra Nevada Porter when I can find it - Deschutes Black Butte otherwise
Lager = Full Sail Session when I can find it Else Ice cold Michelob
Pilsner = Pilsner Urquell- I have seen some local Pilsners but they seem to be seasonal and very hard to find. Iy anyone knows of any good Pilsners please lets here them. Summertime is coming up and nothing tastes better on a 100 degree day than an Ice Cold Pilsner.
I will not drink anything that comes in a can except an ice cold Tecate on the boat in the summer. Bud, Coors, Miller, Pabst are beers that are enjoyed by many. There is nothing wrong with them. But my palate has been spoiled. I do live in Portland, the Microbrew capital of the world. Too many exceptional beers to drink anything less. In my opinion. But taste is subjective so whatever you drink Cheers
Just remember to drink responsibly. Don't drive. And all will be good.

Re: What's your favorite beer?
you're on th right track... i "dabble" in home brew but droptop is wonderfull, above that is rouge's hazlenut brown necture, and "Newcastle" is to die for... i'm a bit of a beer snob and love brown/amber ales to the death, but i made a pumpkin ale last hunting season that was pretty darn good... if you want te recipie PM me. on top of that i am a home brewer so if anyone would like to trade recipies, please let me know!!!!!!!!!

Re: What's your favorite beer?
There's no way I can name one beer but Hair of the Dog Adam has got to be one of the world's best beers for me.
Other goodies:
Terminal Gravity IPA
DuPont Saison
Spaten Optimator
There are many others.

Re: What's your favorite beer?
Deschutes - 'Hop Trip'
Deschutes - 'Mirror Pond'
Rogue - 'Dead Guy'
Siletz - 'Paddle Me IPA'
Guinness - any time I can get it
And believe it or don't - many of the AB brewed seasonals and specialties. Great value.

I'll second the Deschutes "Hop Trip", I also like Astoria Tavern's "Wet Hop" but they are hard to come by, so for an easy to come by beer, I really like the Ayinger beers.

Corona Light with a lime in it,
while sitting on the dock at "Down the Hatch",
Daytona Beach, Florida,
on the Hialeah River,
and eating Grouper Fish and chips.
Oh My!
That is a pleasant way to do it.
Esp. if there is a red sunset over the river.

I am familiar with this beer! It says "You're not worthy!" on the label... It's one of my favorites, along with Pyramid Thunderhead IPA and most anything from Deschutes. Personally, I think there is no such thing as too hoppy!

Right now since I am on vacation with the family, I am currently drinking a Pacifico with a Key Lime. The wife is working on a Corona with a Key Lime. A Spring Break tradition from a vacation to Cabo early in our relationship!
