Drum, the N Frk has a hot line number, I believe it is 503.368.5670, you can get river levels and fishing reports.

Howdy, went to the N.F. Nehalem on Mon.It was very fishable but slow.Nothing in the trap or on the bank.I was very disappointed to find the road that goes to the back side is no longer there.Seems that the timber company that owns it decided to take it out for who knows why.So if your bank fishing your kinda stuck on the hatchery side only in a few fishable spots only!

JCJ - You are welcome to park at the gate on the river above the hatchery and walk in to lots of fishable water. The regs change above the falls, but that is a way up.
