Default Man Killed Over Fishing Spot

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (AP) A man was killed Sunday in a brawl among six anglers vying for the same fishing spot.

Craig Alan Buckley, 35, died on the Matanzas Bridge on Florida's east coast. The cause of death was pending results of an autopsy, St. Johns County Sheriff's officials said.

Three men were arrested, including Buckley's brother, David Todd Buckley, 37, of Peoria, Ill., who was charged with aggravated assault.

Kenneth Eubanks, 39, of Tallahassee, and James Robert Nelson, 36, of Palatka, were charged with manslaughter. Nelson also was charged with aggravated assault.

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!

David

Or the Hospital Hole, on the Trask.......... :depressed:
I watched two guys several years ago that I thought for sure were going to kill each other over a fishing spot.
We all just need to get along..............

Isn't it remarkable how guys can talk about fishing-"To get away from all the hasssle", "To enjoy the peace and quiet",-and yet get all possessive and worked up about one hole(as if it was the ONLY one.)??
They don't realize how much their assertive attitude messes it up for everyone.

Watched two guys almost come to blows over a fishing plug on the N. Fork that someone threw in the water just to be rude when the other guys fish caught on it. He demanded 10 bucks and I guess when the person who threw the plug was bringing his boat in an hour later the other guy came over and recieved 10 bucks from the angler, he said.
