Default Spring bear SW...

Do any of you guys hunt bear in Curry County?

I hunt Alsea and Siuslaw. I don't have much trouble finding a bear to shoot or take pics of. I like taking pics almost as much as hunting them. I've been wanting to get bear pics in some different topography. Some of the old ODFW studies indicate high bear density in the SW corner. There's a lot of FS down there and since I'm not acquainted down that way I was wondering what the prospects of seeing bears was. I drew an Alsea tag, but I was planning on doing some after season filming in June during the rut. Just an excuse to be out in the woods. Retired logger.
