Arrow High School Track Season is here!

Cool link here! If you know someone in track (or cross country), then check out this website:

http://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/Oregon/

Every school, every meet, and every participating athlete's results can be found here. I've homed this link to Oregon, but other states are here too. You can drill down to specific athletes and see their results and PR's.

I'm a sports nut in general, and track is on my list of fun things to enjoy watching (and helping at the meets!). Twin daughters involved again this year.

Enjoy!

WoW! That be COOL bro! Wish they had that site back in my ol` highschool days!! I have a daughter that nearly set a new record fer the longjump fer the school after a standing one of nearly 40 years!! But stuff happens and she got Hogkins lymphoma (sp?) in her 16th year and missed her last good jumps because of too much k-therapy! Was hoping her name would be alongside of mine that had been there on the school athletic board for quite a few years!! I love the individual track stuff and have helped coach it on several occasions! Would love to get back into it, but am too old school to make any diff any more. Keep up da good work!! Gotta love it! Long jump, high jump, hundred yard dash & javelin! CUDO`s Ff.

My son Luke was at a meet in McMinnville yesterday. The weather was a tad bit cold and wet, but they had fun. He only ran the mile yesterday, I'll have to check his time.

Cool site. I love Track and Field.
20+ years ago I competed in T&F.
I just noticed the girls are long jumping farther than I did in my day! I guess things have changed...

A treekiller in McMinnville? Dang, missed him. My daughter's softball game across campus was cancelled.

The rain was very intense at times. I spent the afternoon in a cabin on Mill Creek smoking cigars and playing crib. Nice alternative.

Thank you for posting this link!!!! My daughter attended the Toledo Take Off and I am so very proud of her. This was her very first track event and she took 3rd in the 100m hurdles.:applaus e:

She attends a small charter school and they only have 4 students on there track team and they all have been working hard at training.

My daughter is fortunate to have a friend of ours training her away from school and she has helped her a great deal. This friend took 4th 5th in the 1oom hudles at state last year.

Cant wait to watch my daughter compete some more.

Glad to hear you're enjoying this site. It is very cool. There are lots of ways to drill down. You can filter for specific events and also by grade level (across districts or the state) to see what other athletes are doing, and where your daughter (or son) are in the overall mix. When my daughters look at their times compared to some of the others, it typically turns into a motivation to train and try harder!

Go track stars!
