Default Bodie at 7 1/2 mos-training day

Got Bodie and the camera together today and the little guy really turned on for me. Six birds without a miscue. Here's the first:

Second was about ten yards away ahd he hit it so hard he upended himself and came up pointing. Then to the third down field about fourty yards. Looking good and here's the point and the flush:

On the 5th find he went by the bird about two feet away and upwind. But he saw the bird and turned to point it and then stood thru the flush.

One of the nicest dogs I ever owned and certainly the easiest to bring along.

Great pics Don and great looking pup! He looks alot like mine in the face, he pulls one jowl up a little too when he's on point.

Larry is sure putting out some good looking dogs!

Beautiful dog Don. He is going to be a blast to hunt over. Nothing says Classic like a good setter. I am jealous

Larry has good blood. I'm not sure he could breed a bad dog.

I have another coming from alabama this summer, if the female will come in heat. Royacelle breeding from High Cotton Kennels. Guy has some awful nice stuff. Lewellyns with a ton of style.

Great looking pup, when I see that intensity in a dog it gives me goose bumps.

That is a great looking dog. I have never had the chance to hunt with that breed; are they close working, or big running by nature?

That's a beautiful dog. If you ever need a gunner just give me a call. I'd even carry that pups water.

Bodie has a pretty good set of wheels. generally tho he'll stay out a couple hundred yds but, as he gets older he'll probably go more. working a lot on handle with him. had him on the grasslands behind Haystack res a couple weeks ago and he put a hit I couldn't believe. Cloes to 500yds. The good thing is he came in when I called. really tries hard to make me happy,,,,,,,most of the time!
