...High Wind Warning Beginning Tonight Through Thursday Afternoon For The Central Coast Range Of Western Oregon...The Central Oregon Coast...The Coast Range Of Northwest Oregon...The North Oregon Coast And The South Washington Coast...
A powerful Pacific storm will bring high winds to the Oregon and Washington coast and interior coastal ranges tonight and Thursday. Southeast winds of 20 to 30 mph this afternoon will increase and become south at 35 to 45 mph during the evening. Gusts could reach over 80 mph along the coast...especially along headlands late tonight and Thursday morning. South winds will decrease to 20 to 30 mph by Thursday afternoon as the low pressure system moves inland over northern Washington.
Motorists...especially those in high profile vehicles such as motor homes and those towing trailers should be prepared for these winds. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio and other local media for further details or updates.
