You can get Lubriplate at any Applied Industrial Technologies, Kaman Bearing,. Port, Clack,Tual,Vanc,Long,Sal,Alb,Eug,Tac,Yak,Bel. etc etc.
Lubriplate also makes great suff for reels, guns (low temp) etc.

Lubriplate is the stuff, any decent boat shop should have it. It is white grease and white for a reason, if your bearing starts to go or burn the grease will start to turn brown. As for how often I grease after every trip. B_C, your pump is the same as all the rest, the little pump that Hook and Jim are talking about is a pain in the a$$!!!
good luck and tight lines, Jeff

Made by Lubriplate, No. 630-AA grease. Recommended by 2 different boat dealers. I can only find this grease in a small squeeze tube, would like to buy some in a cylinder tube for the larger grease gun. Anyone know if they make this grease in the canister style cylinders?

The applicator that screws onto the tube doesn't hold well and loses pressure and seperates from the threads. The larger grease gun would really help when applying grease. Can anyone provide some help here?

gregg, I use the same and agree with you a canister would really be nice!

Another question...how often do you grease your pump?

Jim

After every trip. I keep the tube with the boat and only takes a sec to give a couple squirts, just enough to see clean grease run out without water. With the release line, you can't over grease. Greasing after each trip is preventitive maintenance, just like running the motors in fresh water after a trip in salt water.
