Default McNary Steelhead games 11-18-01

I had the pleasure of taking my boss Keith, out fishing at the dam. If I hadn't seen it, I would have never believed it. All total we had over 23 rips last night. Of those rips we had 15 fish on. The steelhead were giving Keith lessons on boat side releases. We ended up with a 15, a 10, and an 8 pounder. I have never seen so many tommahawk chops with so few landed. We lost so many fish all we could do was laugh. These fish were some of the best fighters all year. I scored some major points with my boss tonight! We had more fun watching rods bury with clickers screaming than should be allowed. I will never forget tonight.

Hey Fear.

Have you ever tried those plugs in the day time?

Was just wondering if it's a plug or glow thing that is getting those fish to strike.

It's probably the glow thing, but just wanted to ask.

Dam Painter,
You'll have to do takedowns with my new wife!
Thumper,
Its done. You can come and live with us. Bring your 36 volt trolling motor system. We're gonna need it!
Bumper Chrome,
I heard that the steelhead have been taking turns smacking those two plugs you lost. What pound test you using for line and leaders?
Parker,
I think they would work well on a dark and overcast day. I'm part vampire so I only pull em at night. They hit those lures cause everybody hates disco! They resemble a disco club so hammer down!

FNF
I'm running 10# prower pro and no leader. this line is great. i started using it this spring at the wind. i hooked and boated 3 kings biggest one being 41# buck, i have yet to break this stuff, after hooking a nuke sub at mcnary he destroyed my snap(way to light) i had the drag so tight i couldn't even pull the line out, but he spooled me like it wasn't even working. my fishing buddy is starting to think about changing after break off twice, he's running 15# IZNOR (mono).
