Default Hammond crabbing

Pretty good crabbing Friday and Saturday just west of the Hammond inlet in about 25'. Most crabs are 6 1/4" and bigger. We sorted the 2 pulls of 4 traps for best size to make the limit. Tossed back legal limits on the sort.

Friday evening clamming was easy for quick limit near the golf course. Further north and beyond Ocean Park countless numbers of holes from small clams.

Can drift logs be legally taken from the beach?

WW-
The evening news last noc said the logs are off limits and not for the taking. They are considered private property according to the law. Sorry. :depressed:
