I went to the North Fork Nehalem yesterday to find the Gate locked up which accesses the lower rivers prime fishing area.This is the 1st gate on HWY 53 just before the hatchery.I spoke with the hatchery manager and he told me someone had gone in and shot up some logging equipment with their rifles.This is the 2nd prime area I have seen locked up due people with no concen or care for property.This road is a very popular road to fishermen and hunters and is really the only access to the river other than rafts or the hatchery area.If anyone has any information or over hears someone bragging about their stupidity please call Longview Fiber company and let them know so they can let the law deal with these vandels.We really need to patrol our lands that private industry allows us to use for recreational use.Take down plate numbers and get good descriptions but don't put yourself in danger by confronting unlawful people, let the proper authorities deal with them.Hopefully someone may have saw or heard something.Keep your ears and eyes open.Lets take care of each out there and respect the land we use.Thanks for your help.
This does not surprise. It is happening everywhere! There will always be a bad apple in the bunch, that spoils it for everyone. CATCH THEM, and give them the DEATH PENALTY Maybe this would start making the idiotic crowd think twice :shocked: Its a shame!
