Weekend Gators Advice

Has anyone been sturgeon fishing this week? Where is the place to be this weekend? This will be the the first trip since march for me and the freezer is running low! Please e-mail if your feeling charitable but don't want alot of company.

That has been the go to spot for some time now I guess. I have the smelt covered but the only squid I have is pickeled. Has the bite been on the pickeled stuff or fresh frozen?

Keeper season in this area is just beginning. Keepers have been coming out of the Fishery, I hear whole squid is the ticket there. So far all I've seen out of local water is shakers. But keepers are due at Kelly Point and other mid river deep holes.

I hear that the mouth of the Lewis is still good for bright coho, and there must be so much 'dead meat' flowing out of it, I'll wager holes downstream have large gators in them.

I'm thinking about taking my lady and the boat to the mouth of the Lewis tomorrow (Saturday). Email me if you'd like to collaborate.

Sorry I missed your post ********* I was in bed early last night. I would have enjoyed angeling with you. I guess my buddy wants to fish the gorge and I just want to fish so Bonnaville it is. Good Luck to you!
