Default The Kilchis river is clearing!!!!

I think I'll open up a new restaraunt on the Kilchis tomorrow.
The kids and I will make up a bunch of doughnuts and we will call it just that!
The Doughnut hole!
We'll get a long stick and serve um right to your boat!
Kidding, but it would be fun...
My bet....
The river will be still a bit high tomorrow, but PRIME on Sunday.
Of course, I have to play for church, darnit!
It will, of course, be an aluminum hatch everywhere....
Bumper boats, have fun!
I'm going out to lose some bobbers now!
Jen

Hey, Jen. Took your advice and stayed to the south. Fished the Nestucca and Three rivers. Main river still a bit high, but shaping up fast. Three rivers was just about perfect, good height and clearing. Hooked three fish and lost all three. Two on corkies and eggs, one on a spinner. The spinner fish was a bright hen, about 20lbs. She gave a few head shakes and spit my spinner right back at me. Looking to hit the Kilchis tomorrow. Hows it shaping up? Boat or not? Did your fish this afternoon?

I bobbered for 1/2 hour or so.
Too swift, really, for bankin and bobbering.
The color is a little off still, but should be beautiful tomorrow.
Gettin the oil ready for the doughnuts!!!!
LOOK OUT!
I think I might really do this!

I've seen the power of this board. We could fill a race track with the right information. There are so many lurkers just vaccuming up the reports. Very easy to see the Kilchis on overload with an aluminum hatch tomorrow.

I can see 28 with my crystal ball. If Jen and the boys are fixing donuts in the morning, I'll be there at first light......and I'll be really HUNGRY! Oh wait, that's not good, everyone will be there.

Fishbait, is that 42 in the first couple of hours, or the entire day.

I say more like 75 boats counting both drifts (park to bridge and bridge to 101).

I would guess that you are right in the ball park when you say 42 boats.

I'll be staying home this weekend, Monday and the rest of the week the rivers are all mine! (almost)
