Default New flyfisher

Well she had a ball with her new 6wt at the top secret Hornings Hideaway Hole. The smile tells it all.

Then she started in on her best finesse casting form.

Timing is everything as she found out.

Thank goodness there are places like this to teach were form and presentation doesn't matter. Even her custom tied #10 brown yarn body with black floss head matched the hatch. By the time we left she had a list of places she wants to fly fish this year.

1.5 hours later 7 landed and 2 lost and I still had to negotiate a leave time. What a blast.

THIS IS OBVIOSLY A SERIOUS CASE OF CONTRIBUTING TO THE DELINQUENCY OF A MINOR. SHAME ON YOU. SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS MORE OF IS LESS VIDIO GAMES AND MORE OF WHAT THIS YOUNG LADY IS DOING. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Very cool!

One recommendation, however: eye protection. Even experienced fly tossers should wear it but especially beginners.

I think she's hooked!

You won't regret it. I seriously believe that my fishing and hunting habits kept me out of trouble and even helped me graduate high school and college.
