Default Jigs in high water conditions

? for all the jig fisherman out there. Since I moved to Oregon a year & a half ago I have basically seen low water conditions. Plan to go to the Wilson when it clears up a bit. Do you have to seek out slower moving water when it is off color and moving faster? Looking for tactics and suggestions. I am armed with a good supply of First Cast Jigs so I think I'm set there.

Regards,

Dave

Think like a fish. Hit the seams, the brushier banks, water that is more slack than usual, the tailouts that have cover, etc. Jigs will get 'em in high water as well as low.

Jack is right on. Target water that has slower current so the fish will get a chance to look at your offering. Try chartreuse, black, white combinations. A little bit of bait tipped on the end of the jig will help too.
