A SENIOR MEMBER (IFISH HATS)
As a fairly new member to the board.I don't feel I
have the "authority" (maybe the wrong word) to say what path we take in this hat venture. Someone with longevity needs to step up and make a decision. otherwise I could see this thing keep going and going. I see this person starting a thread for ideals and comments only. keeping one thing in mind. Lets keep it simple with this first go around. after the first order the logo will be in the computer and we can go as low as a 10 hat order.

Re: A SENIOR MEMBER (IFISH HATS)
I prefer the low-profile, outdoorsy looking caps as opposed to the baseball style (with a big emblem sticking up like a billboard).
Oval patches work well on these hats. The Ifish decal is oval.
Sorry about that Jen, you're right it is round!
So, make it elastic, get a couple of big guys, one at each end, . . . you get the idea.

Re: A SENIOR MEMBER (IFISH HATS)
I agree w/you, Vin. The IFISH logo, as it is with black lettering, on a tan hat would be sweet, I think. NO white background.

Re: A SENIOR MEMBER (IFISH HATS)
The ifish decal is round... Isn't it? Last I checked....
How bout just lettering?
No pic? Just simple?

Re: A SENIOR MEMBER (IFISH HATS)
If it we're totally up to me I would settle for a low profile wool blend. color- tan w/ blue or green (tan and green look good together) bill. make the logo all black except a little red band in the fish, remove the "FISHING THE COAST" and put OL Glory over the adjustment band in the back.

Re: A SENIOR MEMBER (IFISH HATS)
I'd be happier with a Stetson and the fish embroidered on the side ... should be able to do it for, oh, $160.00 or $175.

Tan's alright, a dark bill does not show dirt as easily.

Tan hat, navy blue bill, black logo with no background and a small american flag by the adjustments. What do you think?

Re: A SENIOR MEMBER (IFISH HATS)
I think I have a deal I can't refuse!
Take a peek here and tell me what style you like.
Either the Waxed Oxford Cloth #435cw or Brushed Twill #232c.
Sell price will be around 10 to 15.00
Add $4.25 per order for up to 4 hats for UPS residential or commercial delivery. For orders over 4 hats the UPS freight costs will be slightly higher due to the heavier and larger packaging.
What color?
Jen

Much credit to all of the people who have pushed for hats, patches, etc.
HEY! We need our own line of steelhead rods too!

Any of the twill hats are cool. What about straps. Please, no plastic snap straps. Leather straps are the way.

Re: A SENIOR MEMBER (IFISH HATS)
I would vote for the 232c. Is it possible to make up an order for some of each? (The generation gap is showing up in hat style choices)

Re: A SENIOR MEMBER (IFISH HATS)
My vote goes for....I think....435cw...I need something that I can pull down hard and it will stay on at 50mph in my open sled. But I will go with the group.
Now special hats...Fear No Fish needs to get something other than bandanas so lets get him an 875.
And Jen, for you...a 425f...
Count me in...I have said that before but just to make sure.
