I had Don Grant help me with some Employment related issues and we were able to have good results.
He is in a firm called "Grant & Elcock) up here in Vancouver, but It was regarding my employment in Oregon.
Sounds like you have a contract to review, and good contract Lawyer should be able to decipher it for you and tweak the language to give you some protection etc.
