I took a trip up to Vancouver last week with the family for a little vacation and managed to weasel a day of fishing out of it. Since it was my first time I booked a trip with Vic Carrao of STS Guide service and it was a blast.
We started the day off with some salmon fishing at the mouth of the Harrison and it was nice. Spent the time chucking spinners at the hordes of chums with a few late silvers mixed in. I didn't land any silvers but sure had fun with the chums.




After salmon fishing for a few hours we went the Fraser a ways and fished for sturgeon. Wound up hooking 5 and landing 3, the largest of which was 69 inches. Say hello.

If you ever head up that way and are looking for someone to fish with I'd recommend giving Vic a call. I'll be back!!!

That's a nice chromer chum Rich. I'm glad you enjoyed fishing with Vic. He's a great guy. I haven't fished with him but we had several conversations during our trip earlier this year and he helped us a lot. I'd recommend him too for anyone heading up there.
