Default Lamiglas Rules!

On our annual trek to Alaska last month my son broke an old Lamiglas 8 wgt fly rod. We knew it was old, but he took it back to Lamiglas this week and they told him it was made in 1984. No problem....they gave him his choice of any Lamiglas fly rod at their manufacturer's cost (about 1/5th of retail). He went home very happy with a new Ti2000 4 piece ($550 at retail). Lessee, now, I bought that rod on Ebay for $34 a few years back.....not a bad deal. What a great company!

I have got a Lamiglass fly pole a 9 weight not that old, broken in 2 spots, darned fish are brutal on poles. If it was my abu I'd fix it myself, but this Lamiglass was purdee from the start needs to go back to the shop.....almost affraid of the cost to repair because the pole was so much to begin with. Can someone tell me where is it ? North of Woodland right?

I love that pole because it is a beautiful 4 peice but truthfully have caught more fish on the ugly abu not being afraid to break it and have packed it all over Gods country. 20 bucks well spent. Well the irony is I broke the Lamiglass. I finally buy something nice and was careful with it use it and it breaks. Are you sensing frustration here?

Are they resonable on repairs? I figure I might have to buy a couple of sections since it broke in 2 spots. That fish that did it I want to bonk him again and maybe his brother.

Take the Woodland exit. If you're coming from the South, when you get to the stoplight at the bottom of the exit, just go straight across through the intersection. Just keep going on the frontage road, you can't miss Lamiglass on your right hand side (1/4 mile??)

Yes, they do, you can buy there as well. But be forewarned.....you will pay as much for their factory seconds and demos with NO WARRANTY as you would on sale at Joe's or FMO for the full warranty new models. They also have some pretty nice hats, shirts, and jackets there, which aren't priced too bad.
