McNary Native night...

[FEAR NO FISH!]

Took Jake out to give him some needed
relaxation. Trouble is, he was too
busy landing steelhead to relax. We
fished from 1900 to 2300. 7 on, 5
landed. It was darn near a rip every
30 minutes. He got to dance with 4
beautiful natives and a 12 pound
bright hatchery hen. Dead calm, no
rain and about 50 degrees. It don't
get no better than that! School for
Jake and work for me will be rough in
a few hours. Whats a little lost sleep
when you have fishing like that. :grin:

Will the fun never end? Nothing better than being able to share that with someone and being your son only makes it better. I'm asking the wife if there's any thing she would like me to do. IS THAT INSANE OR WHAT?. if its a bug than write me a prescription... just one more night out, please please. or just shoot me.iF ANY HAD A VORTEX IN THEIR MOUTH THATS MINE.Keep it up "doing the vortex boogie"

I'm assuming Jake is your son. It's trips like this that leave images on your soul and habits that will last a lifetime. When he can't keep a job because he's always out there fishing, he'll have you to blame. :smile: Just Kidding!

Actually he'll have you to THANK! Life is too short to spend the whole time working/schooling. Takes me back to the times when my folks would take us kids on camping/hunting/fishing vacations up North. Some of the most quality times ever spent with my dad. Yep, missing a little bit of sleep is a small price to pay to spend time making quality memories with your children.

Sure wish I had a couple of days free I would love to come up and "spend the night" with ya. Bein that it is dark we wouldn't have to look at each others ugly mugs and you know as well as I that thats a good thing! :tongue: Way to go on taking "your son" out fishin, I cannot imagine the stresses all of you are goin through right now. Times like that will help bring him around!

He really needed a stress break. With the bomb scare thing, his life has been hell. We sure had fun.

You need to come up here and fish sometime. Lets do it next season. Make sure you save some time and we can make a week of it. Absolute carnage on these metalheads. I have this fishery dialed in. :grin: Springer season coming, yee haw!
