Default Guided Mule Deer Hunt?

Hello,

I am hoping someone has "First Hand" knowledge of an excellent outfitter in either Wyoming or Colorado where I might have a decent chance at a "good" mule deer buck.

I know all the precautions I need to take when booking a guide, but do not know the name of a decent outfitter in either state. There is no better recommedation than from someone who has actually been with a particular outfitter, therefore I am looking to the Forum for some help. I might be too late to apply in either state, but a name would be really appreciated in any event.

Remember: I would only be interested if you or your buddy has been with the guide so that I can ask the right questions when I talk to him.

Thanks in advance,

Rusty

John, Maury Jones- jacksonholeoutfitters.com
They consistently take 180-200" bucks in the Greys-Salt River range in Wyoming.

I watched this guy on Keith Warren Outdoors last night:

It looked like a decent outfit.

Would be very careful of Co. this year. Just talked to uncle about hunting and he said it looks like it might be a bad winter kill year. They have had a heavy snow year.

I have found that many are already booked for '08.
I am looking at places like Rawhide Creek Ranch, Sizzlin S Outfitters, and Muddy Creek Outfitters for '09.

I hunted with Non-Typical Outfitters in Wyoming last year for elk. It was a great hunt and everyone tagged out. But there best hunts are for Mule Deer in which they do very well and take some monsters. They are on the web if you want to look at them and they work very hard for you. Good luck
