Re: boat ramps
The only ramps in this area to my knowledge are private residences. Time to meet the neighbor?

Re: boat ramps
Unfortunately, between Scappoose and Astoria lies a whole lotta river, and not many ramps(Oregon side), and the ramps that are there are not, shall we say in the best of shape and user friendly.
About a year ago, I thought I heard that an agreement had been reached for the State Parks to take over the Trojan facility and put in a ramp(Marine Board?), but have not heard anything more. The site is of course already developed with lots of parking, but I'm sure the money crunch has put the brakes on any spending issues. It's really too bad, because there is a real need for a large facility with a decent ramp. All the existing ramps along that stretch of the Columbia are ancient and in bad need of repair. Ramps and facilities have not kept up with the population/boat boom and were largely ignored during the years of salmon closures. There are some real issues with existing facilities such as limited parking, broken down docks, busted ramps and terminal drop-offs. Boaters beware! It becomes even more of a challange as the fish and the crowds arrive.

Re: boat ramps
Any ramp out of Woodland or Kalama? One of them might split the difference.

Re: boat ramps
There is a very good ramp at Kalama with a lot of parking (if you get there early). Can be a bit hectic launching there once the springers start biting!!

Re: boat ramps
Husker as stated on the Orgeon side just St. Helens and Rainier, Kalama, or Scappoose.
The Washington side has a ramp in Ridgefield 10 minute run to Columbia City via Lake River. Then theres a unimproved ramp at the Lyons Club park along the dike road out of Woodland.
It's not much help. long run from Rainier or Kalama or long drive for you too Woodland or Ridgefield Oh the Ridgefield ramp is in a state of confusion it's be rebuilt . New docks new stageing area and more parking. But what a mess it is now or nutill their done..

Re: boat ramps
The Ridgefield ramp is fine. They are replacing the old dock, but the ramp is fine.
For SW Washingtonians Beebe's ramp is also available just 500 yards up the main Lewis. That's the one I have been using for many years.
