Default Local employee owned store gun sale...

I don't know if anyone else scored on the inventory reduction sale. I bought the following:

Savage 16fhss 22-250
Savage 16fhss 300wsm
Ruger 77 ss/syn 270
A couple of bricks of 22lr

The big guns are going to the RMEF banquet 4/5. The 22-250 is for me. The prices on these guns are still hard for me to believe.

I have a full day "war wagon" squirrel shoot planned in April for a friends batchelor party. The new Savage MKII BV and the 16 FHSS are going to get a work out.

I am not sure how the admins feel about this kinda stuff. But If you went to Bi-something it is a good low priced shop. Unfortunately I think the sale ended today but it would be worth a call. We are talking $30 to $60 off of the sale prices. For example a Savage 16FHSS for $429!

I was in the Vancouver store that rhymes with Sly-mart and they had some crazy prices on Savages that they were trying to close out. Stainless detachable magazine rifles in .243, .300 WSM and .270 Win. for $429. It was hard to walk away, but I had all of those diameters covered in the gunsafe.

Shilen is making chambered barrels for the Savage rifles now.
Don't know when they started but it was listed as a new item.
