Default Slow fishing reports coming in....

Every guide I have spoken to reports slow catching....
From Bill on the bay,
"Well.... I think we saw one caught!"
The Nestuc is reporting the slows...
Where, or where are the fish???
Last year the rivers were high and muddy for the event, this year, low and clear... So hard to pick a day to fish!

I understand that the Kalama is doing pretty good. Both Salmon and Steelhead.

See you there in the morning.

Slow? you guys are fishing for the wrong specie. Try fishing for old diamondsides up at Bonneville. We managed 3 keepers today below the fishery. we also were kept busy by the 20 or so shakers and due to the wind we had to play hold the pole all the time. Final tally one huge 59" , one 45" and a miniscule little 42 1/2"

Them pesky salmon quit biting already, time to switch gears to steel and diamonds......

Caught silvers on the Kalama the last two weekends. Don't know if the lack of rain the last few days has slowed down the bite or not.
