Default Leatherman MICRA.... ready, set...

O.K., I'm done posting to myself about how to catch skittish fish! I was beginning to see how fun it is to carry on complete conversations all by yourself!
Anyway.... Leatherman Tools is helping out with the NYC events by donating tools.
Please, to win a Leatherman MICRA all for yourself, go to the LEATHERMAN WEB PAGE and be the first back here to post the answer to the question below.
The winner will need to e mail me your physical address so that I may get it in the mail today or let me know if I can deliver it to the Tackle Swap on Saturday.
The Leatherman web site states this:

quote:
Immediately following the disastrous events of one week ago, Leatherman Tool Group began to investigate how we could help. Our desire was to get our tools in the hands of the firefighters and other emergency services personnel working at the World Trade Center disaster site. In part because shipping companies were essentially grounded for several days, and in part because of the overwhelming outpouring of support the various emergency and charitable agencies had to deal with, it has taken several days to make contact with an organization that could assure us our donated tools would be put to immediate and appropriate use.

Now, how many, and to which organization are they donating their tools?
Whooooo hooooooo! Way to go Leatherman and thanks!
You don't know Jack Salmon!!!
Jen

Jen,

Today, we are shipping 500 Leatherman tools, specifically the Pulse, to AmeriCares (www.americares.org). Founded in 1982, AmeriCares is a respected non-profit disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization headquartered in Connecticut. They are in close contact with the Fire Department of New York, the National Guard and the NYPD Emergency Services Unit; these agencies have assured AmeriCares that our tools "would be extremely helpful." UPS is scheduled to deliver our donation to AmeriCares Wednesday; they will then be routed directly to the relief effort staging area for distribution to the firefighters and their colleagues.

Ya know, I could argue that we posted at the same time and that becasue "b" comes before "r" that birdsnest's post came up first.

You could argue just about anything.... But I doubt that it would change the way it works.
I only have so many of these things to give away!
I wish I had enough for all... :depressed:
