TA Tomorrow at the Lucky Lab
The Lab knows we're coming and the party will be out back...because I lean towards the smoking crowd and it's a good place for a bunch of fishermen.
Kick off at 5:30...we'll line up the pitchers and get after it!
We'll have lots of gear to look at and you can't beat free beer!

Heck, that just means you have a longer run. Put the wind to your stern and open her up.

9th and Hawthorne. Just drive south until you smell beer, then drive east until you see Tuna stickers on the trucks.

Re: TA Tomorrow at the Lucky Lab
I wish I could make it but there is a lot of stuff going on at the house right now. Free beer and drooling over tuna gear is just not on the radar for me. Soon the house will be done and I can play.

I'm there. Pepsi for me or a root beer would be cool. Bring on the archer bars.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better day to drink beers outside with your fishing friends!
Due to the weather...the bar opens in 30 minutes!

Will there be spreader bars for sale? What would a couple spreaders cost anyway?

Bernie, I'll buy you a Pepsi too. They make a very nice craft root beer there as well.

That was fun seeing everyone again, and chatting about technique.
Good call, Bud. Nice gear, makes me wish I had remembered a drool towel.

Re: TA Tomorrow at the Lucky Lab
Don't worry Stream, my wife has a contract out on several of the dogs, a few go nameless in hopes of their survival.
Bud, thanks again - so you can fit 36 beers in that little kill bag - how many can you get in the large one, Dan is going to want to know

Re: TA Tomorrow at the Lucky Lab
Thank you all for coming! Hard to not have fun with this group!
Fred is a good man and in addition to buying all that beer last night...he's going to make a donation to Ifish as a thank you for Jen's cooperation during this whole caper.
Again, good times with a great group!

Re: TA Tomorrow at the Lucky Lab
It was a good time, indeed. Nice to see some familiar faces and to put a face to some names. It was great to talk a little fishing, take a look at some new gear, etc. Thanks Bud, Fred, and to all you dogs for showing up. Thanks, too, to Stickfish for the ride home.

Re: TA Tomorrow at the Lucky Lab
Thank you Bud & Fred. My wife thought it was great deal, then she realized she dropped a zero from the check register!
It's worth it. Fish feed in Sunriver last night...served 18 of my friends with Tuna, Halibut and Salmon that I caught last year. The city dwelling, latte licking, mini van driving metro couples didn't know you could catch that much fish all by yourself (these are the pro marine reserve types).
First time with BBQ loins too, dang, that was GOOD. Cedar planked salmon, Jalepeno Halibut, and a Creole seared tuna. Fat and happy, with clear skies and an empty mountain.
