Default New release from Luhr Jensen

Cool! Talked to Buzz of Luhr Jensen last night at the Rendevous dinner for the Oregon Wildlife Heritage Foundation.
He gave me a bunch of goodies!
He also told me the latest in K 13 technologies...
A lighted one!
It comes in 6 colors, all transparent, so the light shows through.
It doesn't light up until it hits water, as the water completes the electrical current...
I can't wait! Should be out by Spring of 2002! Look out, Springers!!
What do you think of this concept? I can see many, many springers in my net to come!
Oh... by the way, Buzz is Bill's bait boy today...
I thought that was SO funny!
Actually, Buzz is guiding, Bill is taking his sled to show them around.
The bay is the place to be today, the rivers are all really low.
Lots of cars parked at Dougherty Slough every day lately... Wonder what's up, or what Bobbers are down?
Jen

I would definitely give them a try! I have had good success with the glow in the dark headed ones for fall kings.

Jennie,
I received one of those in August
from Dave Lind. He is their chief
lure designer. I have pulled it head
to head with a lighted vortex at
night. Hands down, the vortex got the
rips. I have pulled it so much the
batteries are almost shot. I feel
that the light in the lure needs to
be bigger. At least as big as a
vortex light. I won't give up on them
completely. I think an all red or
clear model will pay off. The lure I
used was painted all glow in the dark
with the red light in the tail. I had
a banner night last night. See my
McNary report for 11-07-01 soon.

The lighted Vortex plugs worked great on Drano Lake night fishing for summer steelhead this year. This sounds great. A new K13 that lights up should work for both steelhead and springers for night fishing in Washington. They could be good for murky water daytime fishing too?
