Default Upper Nestucca

You can't get there from here - here being from the Carlton side. At least not in a Toyota Corolla. Tried to get to the upper river between Blaine and Elk Creek from the Willamette Valley - too much snow once you get past the reservoir. Apparently, not hauling logs this way - good foot of packed, icy snow. Rutted if you got clearance and 4 wheel drive.

Bummer - I was really looking forward to any afternoon on the river.

I've never driven over the top to Carlton as I always take Bible Cr road, but the road does turn to gravel at Elk Creek, but can't say how long it stays that way. I'm also interested in the condition of Bible Cr road.
