Default Report -More fun with eggs!

I hope I am not beating this subject to death. I am not about to let these nuggets go used or spoil. I read and re-read everyones posts, searched present and past on the egg subject. I considered recuring them but did not as Ramstrong advised. But thought about what Fishbait had suggested with a Salt & Sugar Brine. What I did was took all the eggs out of Ziplocks. Dumped it all in a big tub, poured out juice and mixed it with the salt and sugar and put the eggs back in for a 3 hour soak. Drained it all off and put them on a screen to dry. Nice warm well ventilated place to dry. It looks good , skiens holding togather (that looked mush-soupy before) and some good eggs & wrinkled eggs (I think that is where the juice came from in the first place). I think saved them from mushing all the way. Wah La ... Wow the eggs are looking good again and I am ready for Tillamook Nook or Lewis R. steelies.

In addition to bleeding hen almost before I bonk it gently and icing down the eggs immediatley. When I get home with these nectar sacs I start the the cure process. Right now I am trying Shure Cure Cuz the old bearded guy at Joes said to try it. No more Ziplocks, getting that vac pack Food Saver sealer.

So for that "Secret Ingrediant" that Thumper and Ramstrong mentioned... well I dont have lots of money to pay for it, I will have to guess and start experimenting. Garlic ummm sounds good,Anise I like that too, some of Maries Shrimp Oil, Tabasco no I need that for my breakfast, Oh yeah some Cravex from the fish store down the street.

I appreciate everyones advise and responses that is what makes this BB so great. Behind or ahead of me this BB has helped me become a better angler. Thanks!
