Default Steelhead leader

I used some 4lb tuff leader the other day and I really like it, because i didn't get any rock nicks. The only hard part is changing riggs. The line is really tuff to cutt. I do have a pair of fingernail clippers on my vest but it still didn't do the trick. What do you think about tuff line for drift fishing?

It depends on what your mainline is...I wouldn't recommend it in combination with a superbraid mainline. If you are used to fishing with a mono set-up, you will have to totally change your hooksetting routine. Setting the hook with a braided mainline is entirely different that setting to hook with mono. You need to keep your drag somewhat loose, and DON'T thumb the spool when you set the hook. If you do, bye bye fishy!
If you are using a mono mainline, I don't think it will matter much because the mainline will act as the shock absorber.
If you are having nicking problems with your leaders, try Maxima Chameleon. Even when nicked up, it will land fish....
