Default fishery update

went and fished up there close to the falls.. after having my line in for about 2 minites, had something big on for 20 minites and then he jumped and the hook came out!! had to be over the size limit.... wow!! after only this short time!! i thought it will be a great day!!, after 6 or 7 small shakers, he came, all 54" of him and belive me he thought he was bigger!!, took about 30 minites to reel him in, all the time i was thinkin he was gonna be TOO big....i hope he is as tired as i am.... now i have to cut um up for din din!!.........john

I love it! Way to go and that fish will be pretty tasty too. The bite is on for keeper sturgeon in the gorge. Just wait till you boat one of those monsters. You won't believe how big it is.

When he gets next to your boat, roll the fish on its back and it will chill out so you can get your gear back. Make sure you turn him right side up before release so he'll be able to swim away.
