Default Swim baits

What is the correct way to attach the jig head to the main line? Your basic solid knot, shock tippet with loop, split ring, snap????????

If the fish are really picky I might use a perfection loop, and know I am giving up 20% breaking strength. Otherwise I am mostly a palomar kind of guy.
