Default Nehalem river

Been out of town for 2 weeks. Trying to beat the crowd on the wilson tomorrow. Are there any fish being picked up by the town of Nehalem or is this fishery pretty much done for the year. Had a great day there 3 weeks ago. Thanks in advance.

Good luck with the crowd on the Wilson Saturday ... I think the crowd got there Thursday.

Fishing Freak, I was down there last Sunday, Fished between the town of Nehalem and the North
Fork. In 3 hours, caught 9 fish, All BIG wild silvers. No nooks, Was trolling rainbow spinners with the tide. If you want to just catch fish this might still be the place..

Thanks Eatmebaitco. I have enough fish, just looking for some fun. Looks like Nehalem might be the place for me.

I am planning on making my first drift trip on the S. fork of the Nehalem this Sunday. I could sure use some input on best drifts, tactics, shuttle services...
Any info would be great, Thanks. Mongo

I drove through Nehalem today and it was sad... :depressed:
All the fun activity that was so fun to view from your car, the boats, the trailors, the full parking lots.... void. Gone! Poof!
Nothing but a silent.... (fish filled?) river!
As I drove by, I trolled it in my mind...
I bet there ARE fish in there, thought the eternal fish optimist!
I'd like to give it a try-- and there is no aluminum hatch on the Nehalem!
If you are after peace and quiet... it isn't in T-mook!
