Have you been to Dominican Republic?

Has anyone been to Dominican Republic?
If yes, what was your experience? Where did you stay? Etc.

I had a friend that was a missionary there like 10 years ago and she loved it. Acording to her they do not care for people from other countrys to much but that was 10 years agao or so rp

I have been to Haiti, and am interested in going back at some point. We sponsor a child there who we can visit.

Anyway, I just picked up a "Lonely Planet" guide to DR and Haiti at Goodwill. If you would like, I can either pass it along to you, or copy the info on places to stay.
