Default Maries Shrimp Scent.

I have fished with Maries shrimp scent several times and still havent caught anything. I dont doubt the stuff I still believe that it works great but I was just wondering how much should I use like how many times should I spray my bait with it? Thanks.

Putting your bait in front of the fishes face and the way you present it is 90% of the battle in my opinion. Lots of variables to be taken into consideration before the scent can do anything. But once you get everything else right, it can make the difference between making lockjaw fish bite and getting skunked.

Also try one of those $4 injector needles. It'll screw onto most scent bottles. I believe that if you inject your bait, it won't rinse off as fast. Otherwise, (I'm guessing) you get a strong initial scent (stronger than natural), then lose it. It seems that injecting will give you a longer slower release.

On the subject of "longer slower scent release," has anyone ever tried cod liver pills with holes in the capsule to release the scent?
