Default Chicken Soup for the Fishermans Soul?

Did anybody else besides Jennie, BOE and myself submit a story for this book? If so, have you heard anything back about it?

Last I heard, Jennie's story was moving through the process. I don't know about BOE, but I haven't heard back so I'm assuming it won't be printed.

For me it really doesn't matter because writing the story about learning to fish with my (deceased) grandfather, and all those sea sick days was good therapy in itself.

Anybody else?

I received a post card that said it was received and being considered.

Looks to be either a long process, or I been filed in the round file.

I wrote to the lady handling it. This is her reply:
Jennie - Saw the postings, can't make out their information to
cross-reference it to our database. If they would like to forward me their
name, address, story title and approximate date of their submittal, I'll be
happy to look it up for them.

We have about 600 stories we're considering right now for the 101 that make
it in the book. Our publish date was late 2002/early 2003, but has been
pushed back a touch due to the Sept. 11th events. Please feel free to
cut/paste and post my response on your board, but use this e-mail address
instead of my personal one - dahlynn@fishsoul.com.
