Tips on Spring bear in Wilson/Trask units

Buddy got a tag and it will be a first for him, any tips that might help him find some action Dont need any honey holes or anything like that unless your willing to disclose by way of PM of course.
Just trying to help him get started and Im of no help at all.

I drew mine too....grew up in the area but have never killed a bear...I'm gonna try calling up behind Sandlake and in the Beaver/Blaine area.
