Default River Rising

I drove 200 miles yesterday with the drift boat and checked out the Alsea and the Siletz. The Alsea had hardly any fishermen, and we saw no fish because they were apparently moving. Drifted from Twin to Town on the Siletz and the river was clogged with leaves. Saw some fish below the Sams Cr. bridge, but mostly dark and jacks. I guess I need to wait until the rivers drop back down, but it sure was a lot of effort for nothing. I want to get a fish in the boat with the oars on, not just tidewater (blah, I'm sick of tidewater!).

Any reports from anywhere else?
