Default Longview area sturgeon bite

I was thinking of maybe trying the longview area for sturgeon out of Rainier and wanted some advice on the productivity of this area. Has anyone fished there for sturgeon lately? in the past month? Is there any particular spot that would be good to drop a line in? Near Cowlitz mouth? Bridge?

Help!

Thanks,

TPM

I know we alaways did well at the Fence Hole and on the flats by the big long dock down by Willow Grove. The fence hole is Just upstream of the long dock and the line of trees theres an old fence that comes down to the water. around 200 yards or less off shore theres an 80 ft hole . for the flats area we used our fish finder to get on the angle from the channel 15-25 ft deep.

Good Luck I have no really current info on this area so I don't know if its turned on yet.

Hey Bait boy, I'm looking for a little personalized instruction on Longview sturgeon. Trade you for a little Kelly point?

What do you say?
