Default Elk & Sixes Rivers

Does anybody have information on if the sand bar is blown out yet? I wanna get me some more of dem Bright hawgs, but I don't wanna haul da drift barge all the way down there for an empty river. Or a chocolate one either, for that matter.

My brother in law caught a chinook on the Elk river under the 101 bridge this morning .. saw lot of fish moving up river.. river was rising and gaining color when he left around noon. (We had a good shot of rainthe last two days)
Sixes river store rain a half a dozen shuttles this morning as well

Fished the Sixes today from Edison Creek to the store. We boated 8, six jacks and two adults.. both adults were chromers, and two of the jacks were fresh..
Only saw one other boat, they had two jacks.
We fished float/jigs, and float/eggs all day both adults were 25# hens, both took eggs.
The river was really low, had to drag the drift boat a lot..

We need some rain..
