Not a bad idea checking out so many areas in one day and through the weekend. One thing for sure, you didn't get bored fishing the same area hour after hour. Nothing wrong with crabs, they cost more then fish anyway. Keep seeing salmon for less the $2 a pound, good choice with the crabbing.

Default Tilmook tour this weekend

Started off Friday afternoon trollling spinners at the Oyster house. One takedown, a couple of headshakes later no more fish. Saturday morning dumped some crab traps in Nehalem bay and go upstream and fish tidewater. A few rollers but no takers. After the tide change head back to the bay and pick up the traps with six keepers. Time to go check out Trask tidewater. The river in there looked to be pretty vacant of fish up by the stump and two bit hole so we did'nt stay long. Last stop for the day on the Wilson at mile marker 10 or 11. One bober down and one small buck released. Turning a little color.
On Sunday we took it kind of easy. Put the crab traps in at Netarts and went out for breakfast. Picked them up just before high slack and had 13 keepers. Big ones to.
No fish on the table but a few crabs for cracking.
