Default Southwest side bars?

I'll be up there on Friday March 7th. I was wondering if any of you could recommend any bars preferably on the sw side of PDX. I haven't been home in about 3 years, and i'm looking at indulging in some frothy beverages with some old friends for my first evening back home. After I get that out of the way, then I'll be concentrating on the springers.

Anybody have any recomendations..... preferably not any yuppy hangouts.
I'm kind of the trashy looking redneck type fella.

Thank you

You might try the Veritable Quandry in sw Portland where you can muse over some poetry befor the symphony.

Better choise would be bushwackers big country bar in Tualitin or the old wankers corner for the sofisticated red necks and the corner saloon in Willsonville is a good holding water for the finer hens in the river a touch yuppi by texas standards but dont let that stop ya if you fancy the ladies..

I only know of places with delicious hand-crafted microbrew, and I know how that stuff attracts yuppies, whatever that means.

Old Market Pub does have PBR! And shuffleboard, I suppose that's a yuppie game.

Tell me what kind of juke joint you want to hang in.
Good Beer
Hot Chicks
Sports
Food
Vino
Quiet / Loud

I'm in the Beer / Wine / Spirits business and live in SW PDX and fish for springers.

Not to toot my own horn but I'm an expert on this request.

Let me know and we'll hook you up.

Try the raccoon lodge!! They have a few heads on the wall and they brew right there! Haven't been in a while so I hope it is still good. Or head way out of town to the Helvetia tavern and have a big gangbusters burger and they have beer, of course too.
