Default Leather/vinyl seat cleaner?

I just bought a GMC 2500HD SLT Dmax, Alli, CC, SB, 4x4 with the leather seats. (I know only the middle part that you sit on and in the middle of your back is leather and the rest of the seat is vinyl.) So, what does everyone else use to clean and preserve the seats.
I was also thinking about getting a seat cover but I am worried about not being able to feel the heat come through. Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks and good motoring,

D

My 2005 looks to be 100% leather; are your seats aftermarket custom?

They do a pretty good job matching it,but some of its vinyl.

They even say so in their discription. You have leather "seating surfaces"

I use Maguires leather cleaner/preservative wipes. The wipes are kinds spendy, but are also very handy.

I had 65k on the leather seats in my 2500HD and they looked like new when I sold it. Same for the leather in my '07 Tahoe. 26k and they still look excellent.

I'm not easy on my truck seats either. I got elk and deer blood, mud, fish slime, etc. on my truck seats and the Maguires cleaned them right up.

Not sure about Chevy/GM but Dodge/Mopar had a factory fit set of seat covers for my new Dodge. They fit perfectly, front and rear. Seat Heat works fine.
