Just returned from a windy trip with Tim and wife of Reel Obsession. Slow fishing but great company, More later.

[Reel Obsession]

I'll try and re-post my report from our Cabo trip. For some reason the original was removed, I believe convinced that the offer of "two open seats in Cabo" was too good to be true, and must be a sales ploy, in my mind at least completely unfounded.

In any case, my wife and I took Al up on his gracious offer to fish with him and his wife in Cabo. Had a wonderful time, although as Al mentioned we managed to pick the two windiest days of the week. Still managed a mixed bag of bonita, sierra, and a single dorado. Hooked and lost a striped marlin, saw many others, but had trouble getting them interested in the live bait. My wife is totally hooked on fishing Cabo, and one way or anoher, we'll make it happen again.

As for Al and his wonderful wife Erin, I just want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for extending such a gracious offer and for being such nice hosts. Hope to be able to fish with you both again soon, if not on their boat, then on mine.

First, I would like to thank the Salty Dogs who supported me recently, mostly Tim of Reel Obsession ( who took me on my word). By the way , Tim is a big plus behind the helm in rough water and I look forward to fishing with him in mexico again . I got involved with the Dogs to find others with a passion for fishing and adventure , and I’ve made two friends already. I’ll post open seats again when available , despite the thought police. Honesty is recognizeable.
