What a week for vacation
The wife and I both have this week off. Our hope was to do some serious fishing this week. Sunday, we get blown off the river up below Bonneville. High wind warnings in the Portland area for Monday so we stayed home and I cleaned the garage. Not what I had in mind. More wind and rain today here in the Portland area and 25 foot seas and high winds down in Tillamook. The weather is not real promising for Tillamook all week. It sounds like it will clear up a bit tomorrow in the Portland area so we may get out tomorrow if the wind has settled down. I can deal with the rain, but the wind makes it a bit rough out there. Just kills me to waste two days of vacation.

Go find Fear No Fish up at McNary and follow him around, real quiet-like, and do whatever he does.

You might haul your TJ out to the Columbia and shoot some birds while it is windy. Some of the islands can be great when it is stormy. I have talked witha few buddies that had the same problem, they upgraded to a high dollar alt. like the Balmar or a Bosh. They cost more but they have not had a problem.
I have a Marine Power in my boat and have not had a problem with mine... lets hope it stays that way.
It sounds like we are neighbors.

Tough timing huh.
Perhaps a good time to chase some sturgeon. You got that comfy new boat with that fine Bently Top.
That or take up hunting.
