Re: Tackle swap?
Thanks to Mark Anderson of FirstCast Jigs, as he is giving a clinic on jigs at 1pm
Cindy, I hope your coming too!
Then, Fishing Mission is giving a class on how to make spinners at 2pm. (Thanks, Mark and hope to see Jan there too)
I got another person that is going to talk about fly-fishing and tips for the high lakes of Mt Hood. Just waiting for his answer today. This person is full of all kinds of tips, I hope we can get him. He writes for one of the local magazines about fly-fishing. He has fished with Grant McOmie too.
Nov 10 (Sat) 12pm to 3pm at Riverside Park
Coffee and hot cocoa will be nice!

Re: Tackle swap?
Jen,
For hotels there are plenty around this area. I know of two hotels on 82nd Ave just about 1-2 miles from Riverside. Let me know if you have problems finding any.

Re: Tackle swap?
O.K., cool! We have a large coffee maker, Dot!
Ask, and we shall receive!
Thanks, Andy!
And I may stay at my Dad's in Canby, or our gracious Thumper invited Bill and I to stay there, or??? Who knows?

FUN!
And I'm not in charge! Wheeeeee!
But I will bring the coffee, Dot... I will!
How many people though are coming? How much coffee? Can I wear one of those waitress fluffy little aprons? (with waders!?)
Jen

Re: Tackle swap?
To whoever brings the coffee pot/maker, just remember that there isnt any electricity so it should run on some kind of propane stove.....unless you have a better idea!

Re: Tackle swap?
Yeah. How can we do coffee for all these people without electricity. There is a way. There is a way. There must be a way!

Re: Tackle swap?
I'll be there if the rivers aren't fishable.

Tackle swap?
Doesn't eveyone vacuum in their hip boots? I was just doing some in between fishing housework. I was thinking about the tackle swap.
I'm not clear on some things.
Who is giving classes? Are there other people willing to give some classes, or share their "how-to" ability?
Shall I notify Norm Ritchie at the Steelheaders?
Anyone out there have a big coffee pot, like they use at church functions, etc, that they would be able to borrow that day?
I will buy the coffee and then we will figure out how to charge for it so that we can reimburse ourselves, and perhaps save some money for a future function?
Muffins from Costco? Good idea? Bad idea?
(Yum, never bad...)
What are the times again?
Any motels nearby for us long distance people?
I will bring some of the stuff left here from the party, hoping to find their owners.
Ideas? Anyone? So fun not to be totally in charge!
Hats off to all of those who are!!!
