I have a TLD 25 (about 2 years old) that I use. The 25 seems like a little overkill to me, so I think the 20 would be about right. My other Tuna Reels are Avet MXL's and I love those.. They are light and I put them on a 15-30# 7 foot rods and they are a blast to play the Tuna's on.
My TLD 25 is on a 5 1/2 foot meat stick rated 40-60#... Which is more of a Halibut setup IMHO...

I just bought TLD 20s and TLD 25s (the single speeds, not the TLD IIs) for my tuna arsenal and am getting ready to spool them up. I have heard nothing but great things about them. Olybirds is right: TLD 25s are overkill, but if a larger pelagic does hit, I want to be able to have somewhat of a chance. When I come into some more money, I am going to get a couple 50Ws for overnight trips.

I've been using TLD's for years on sturgeon (overkill) and in Mexico. They've been proven world wide on lots of big fish and can pretty much handle anything that's thrown at them. My arsenal is a 15, a twenty single speed and a two speed and a 25. Fish fear them.....

A 20 two speed will handle anything fished for off our coast and all but the largest marlin in Mexico. If you just want a good albie reel, the 15 can't be beat.

I've got 50 Izor line on it now but will probably change that to 80 Tuff-Line with a long top shot of CXX P-Line before I use the reel again.

casting baits and tuna trolling use 20and30 for troll also
thou overkill, 20 and 30 make good halibut rigs . A man can't have to many reels ....... want 50 just because ????
