Default Ax Men Debut...

"New York The 13-week run for the History Channel show on logging in the Pacific Northwest is now set. Checking the History Channel website, they say that the show that's now called "Ax Men" will debut at 10 pm on Sunday, March 9th. Details about the show are now featured on the History Channel website, billing the program as the "first-ever non-fiction series about the treacherous life of Pacific Northwest timber cutters." Produced by the same company that brought us "Ice Road Truckers," the show focuses on the work of four area logging companies, J. M. Browning Logging out of Astoria, Stump Branch Logging out of Banks, Pihl Logging from Vernonia and Gustafson Logging of Astoria. The series preview says that they'll be following the crews through a season of logging, a season that also includes the huge windstorm that ripped through the area. Details about the show are available at the History Channel website, located at www.history.com. "----KUKN Website

Just like with Deadliest Catch, I know a lot of the folks on this series.
I am looking forward to seeing it.

My Dad drives log truck and went to an interview at one of the local watering holes for this. He said it was pretty neat. They asked questions like-

"Any nicknames?" (His is Grumpy )
"How long have you worked in the woods"
yada, yada, yada....

I guess he had some fun with his interviewer when they called his name.

He stands about 6'3" and is tall and kinda lanky. I swear his brow is always furrowed like he's mad at the world even though he's not.
This little gal comes out and yells "Grumpy?"
He says "Yeah! Who's askin'?" with a scowl.
"Would you like to come back for your interview" she asks sheepishly as he strolls up to her in his slow laid back pace.
He said she looked like she wanted to turn and run until he broke out in a big ol grin and said "sure, lets go. Did I make ya nervous.."

This sounds good! Not to hijack, but does anyone know when Deadliest Catch starts up again?
