Default Build your own Drift Boat?

I have heard that you can buy kits to build your own drift boat. I thought that I would ask the Ifish members what they know about this and who to contact to get a kit to build a drift boat.
I think that it would be a great winter project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

here is another site on a drift boat kit, i am personally thinking of purchasing one of these kits, they are much cheaper than the don hill boats, and from what i understand they are just as good! have fun, i think i'll be starting mine next winter, if my wife allows me to! they are called greg tatman boats, here is his web site, hope this helps: http://www.gregboats.com

I think you have the best sites listed above specialy the last one. I liked the Aluminum design one. That would be a number one choice. Specialy in these low water times. I was looking at doing the same thing you are, but the time cut into other chores and never would have to Fish. I ended up buying a used Alumaweld and Never regretted building one, at least not yet. I Still have many other projects to keep me busy, But still have time to sneek out and fish. I know the winter Steelhead run is just around the corner so I'd hate to miss it. Just My thought's.
